Apparently, Microsoft Delivered on Enterprise 2.0 Three Years Ago

(Indexed 2006-04-18):

In the past few weeks, theres been a major uptick in discussion about Web 2.0 / Enterprise convergence. Andrew McAfee has a new article on what he calls Enterprise 2.0. Dions got an entire blog on the subject, though he thinks it should be called Enterprise Web 2.0. Nicholas Carr is skeptical. Seems to me all this discussion about what might happen in this space is pretty silly since its happened already. Unfortunately, Andrews Enterprise 2.0 isnt freely available (you can buy...(truncated)...

Looking for SPSynd Volunteers

(Indexed 2004-03-09):

I had eight people waiting to be admitted to the SharePoint Syndication GDN Workspace. Sorry for the delay folks - my workspace was maxed out on users and I had to get upgraded by GDN. Anyway, I've been given more membership slots, so the people who've been waiting - some since January - are now in. There has been a lot of interest in this project and others like it. Jonathan Malek has his SpsRssGen project. Sig Weber has an RSS Generator for SPS. All in all, there is quite ...(truncated)...

Hacking InfoPath

(Indexed 2004-02-11):

Instead, I whipped up an InfoPath form (well, truthfully, I whipped u...(truncated)...

Going thru my referrer logs, I noticed that my SPSynd project is now listed in the SharePoint Products and Technologies Web Component Directory. Thanks for the listing![Image]

Thinking about SPSynd

(Indexed 2004-01-15):

I'm kicking around SharePoint Syndication again. There are a variety of reasons. I got email from someone @ the SP Web Component Directory about it. According to Scoble, the Front Page team is interested in RSS. And the primary kicker, there's a project going on in my group internally that is using WSS and wants to expose RSS feeds. Glad to know it's popular. Too bad it's not done and I'm not sure how to finish it. Generic feed generation works just fine. The problem is customi...(truncated)...

SharePoint Syndication v0.5

(Indexed 2003-11-13):

I've finally updated the SharePoint Syndication projectto support the RTM version of WindowsSharePoint Services. Since I'm in process of updating my blog software, I haven'tupdated the project page, though I have updated the GDNworkspace with the releasebits, sourcecode and readmefile. The workspace even has a freshly minted url: http://workspaces.gotdotnet.com/spsynd.Enjoy.[Image]
